Dressage pony school master
Lacking in energy and stamina at just 14 years old.
Katya Gingell borrowed the school master Taro from BRYDS family Macdonalds. Taro has been in the family since he was 5 and has recently lost his sparkle and energy. “When he was 5 he would readily throw my children in his very naughty cheeky way. Repeatedly he was going to be sold, but there was something about him we truly loved, so the years went by and now 9 years later, he is part of the family forever. Katya needed a pony for camp after a bit of bad luck so we let her borrow Taro.
“Taro has been our Eastern Region mascot for a number of years, even making it to the BD calendar!” Said Jessica Brown.
“What a super pony to train this little 8 year old jockey on, he was wonderful with her, but made her ride too, the perfect school master.” Said Adam Smyth
The combination gained 70% at their first prelim together and got 3rd place and the youngest rider at the camp.
Katya is now visiting the families home to ride Taro as she loved him so much! He was given a Bespoke to boost his energy levels to see if he could regain his extra points that he has recently been lacking - watch this space.
