Genna brings home the trophy!
Not only do Genna and Imber have a cracking show but her old boy turns 32! Powered by Tailored Supplements.
Genna competes her New Forest gelding, Imber, in Concours d’Elegance showing classes.
They spent the weekend at the Elegance Show in Chippenham earlier in June. This was a big qualifying show for Genna. They hadn’t had the best run up to the show with Imber being off games for 5 weeks and the last time he travelled he got a little stressed, so a stay away show several hours away was a worry for her. But for no reason it seems as he travelled like a superstar despite hot weather and motorways.
She wore an Historically accurate, homemade costume in purple which set off Imbers’ Roan colour beautifully, which was complemented by the judges.
The pair did several classes over the weekend and got some pretty amazing feedback.
They got a 1st in the M&M class, 2nd Open Costume and Best Gelding, 3rd Colour, 5th Mature Rider class and also came home with Overall Supreme Champion! She has now qualified for the National Show at Onley in September.
Imber has had some tweaks to his formulation recently, now he is back on top form.
She also has her 32yo pony Cloud on Tailored Products. He is still in light work and thriving! She has owned him since he was 5months old!
