Liquid Caalm For Rehab - Treating Mind And Body

Competitions were the last thing on our mind with our very seriously injured top dressage horse.  However staying safe and getting calm behaviour was at the top of it.  All horse owners who have been through rehab know the tricky phases of healing. The vets are fabulous at giving clinical solutions for keeping them calm, but it also makes them want to do nothing - when you are told to walk for 30mins and then turn back home, sleepy is not what you need. In my case it gave me an angry horse. It is a very worrying time and being asked to trial the first bottle of Liquid Caalm was a scary day!! I spent 1 whole year walking in straight lines with someone leading Katya's pony! On this particular day it was Lorraine Webster walking with me, her experience with racehorses was paying off perfectly!  I was thrilled to report that he was content and calm. I was not kicking him to walk, we were just walking out sensibly. From that day on I started to reduce the amount I fed each day.  I also increased the amount of chamomile in his daily powdered bespoke to give him more of ingredients that maintained his serotonin levels. The vets could not stress enough how a calm horse in rehab improved the chances of a strong recovery. I owe a huge part of his rehab to the calmness and have since this day heard a story of a horse on cross ties in his stable for 3 months with LIquid Caalm outside his stable for any passing person to feed to stop her horse with a broken leg from stressing.
